Through a special printing process we can place your company name, logo, and message on a quality Len Thompson spoon. A custom lure will not get thrown in a desk with a hundred similar pens, or to the back of a closet with the rest of the hat collection. An angler will always remember the fish caught by your custom lure...very powerful advertising for the price.

SIZES AVAILABLE

The No. 0 is the most popular Len Thompson custom lure size due to its nicely sized printing area and versatility as a fishing lure. The No. 00, 0, and 13 are general purpose spoons well suited to a variety of fishing situaitons; whereas the No. 1, 2, and 4 spoons are better suited for "big fish" country. COLORS AVAILABLE

Although we cannot match "pantone" requests, we offer a number of options below that may fit your corporate/organization colors.

Basic Finishing: - Black, Blue, Red, Green. The finishing color (logo/message) must be the same throughout the entire order; however, depending on the quantity, we can paint one or more background patterns to add variety to your order.

No. 2 Red and White fused... (fusing can be placed on either side) and a No. 0 Flame and White fused blank. Picture your logo and message on these samples!

Basecoats - Out of courtesy for our distributors, we do not print on existing Len Thompson patterns like the "five-of-diamonds." However, we offer a variety of background options starting with the most basic 1-Color basecoats of White, Yellow, or Chartreuse. A 1-Color background tends to be too plain with most designs. We strongly recommend printing in Black or Blue on a multi-color background to increase the lure's appeal to both fish and customers. 2 or 3-Color basecoats generally combine a lighter base color with a darker airbrushed stripe on the edge of the spoon (examples of different colour combinations can be found throughout this section). Call the factory to discuss the multitude of background color combinations available.

ARTWORK & DESIGN

Quality artwork is essential. We require a high quality black and white image. The edges of the text and logo should be clean and well defined. Faxed images are not acceptable for platemaking. We usually have the best success with emailed images in .ai (Adobe Illustrator) or .eps (Photoshop).

We have produced many attractive lures using the following guidelines:

- Try for an uncluttered appearance that fits the lure.

- Logos or pictures generally add to the design.

- A margin around the edge of the spoon is required.

- Fine lines disappear when reduced to size... ensure all lines are bold.

- Bold, easy-to-read fonts enhance the message.

- We only print solid tones... half tone art should be modified accordingly.

For a nominal fee, most printers will make adjustments to your letterhead or business cards to produce appropriate artwork. Although we can print some very detailed images, some artwork modification may be required. Send us an email or fax with the artwork/design you have in mind and we'll get you started in the right direction.
