Congratulations to Kevin Harrison who won our vote by sharing this image and "bittersweet" story.

"I was fishing with my goddaughter and her two sisters on Last Mountain Lake. One of the flags on my tip-up went up so I rushed over. I knelt beside the hole and gave the fish ample time to swallow the five of diamonds spoon with a smelt on it. I yelled for my goddaughter to come over. I set the hook and told her to start to start pulling the fish up. She fought it like a pro.....would let the fish run went it wanted to and never gave it slack. After several runs I finally got a look at it and my eyes opened right up. I told her to take her time when the fish got near the bottom of the ice. After about 5 attempts to get the massive head up the hole, the large pike made its way to the top. I grabbed it by the gill and pulled it out of the water to the amazement of my goddaughter and her sisters. We put a quick scale on it and she weighed 20lbs 4oz. It was a little bittersweet for me as this would have been my biggest fish but the look on my goddaughters face when she caught it will never be replaced. It was quite a different look when I told her we were going put it back down the hole."

He adds, "Len Thompson are the only spoons I fish with. I find some others quite cheaply made and the paint doesn't last. I don't mind spending the extra for a good product."

A BIG thank you goes out to all of our fans who submitted photos to us last month! We will be giving away one last $100 prize pack in August. Your photo can be entered here. Happy Fishing!
